

Samantha Jacobs, MS RD CDN is co-founder of Your Secret Ingredient, LLC. She completed her clinical training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY and received a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition through New York University. Samantha obtained her credentials as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist by the state of New York. Over the past 4 years, Samantha has been extremely involved in the nutrition community in and around New York and Mexico City. Samantha worked as a clinical dietitian for Aramark, counseling patients with various disease states, such as diabetes, renal failure, heart disease, obesity, dysphagia, failure to thrive, and those patients requiring enteral and parenteral nutrition support. Through Your Secret Ingredient, Samantha consults on various literary projects, performs guest lectures, and counsels a wide range of patients, focusing on medical nutrition therapy, weight loss, family nutrition, and culinary nutrition. When in Mexico City, Samantha counsels patients privately, in English and Spanish, and consults with a Mexico City food tour company. Samantha is always seeking out the latest scoop on health and nutrition solutions for her clients. In her spare time, she loves to dine at new restaurants, cook from scratch, and practice Bikram yoga. Samantha especially enjoys teaching people how to incorporate a healthy diet into an on-the-go lifestyle.
Amy Santo, MS RD CDN is co-founder of Your Secret Ingredient, LLC. She graduated from Skidmore College with a B.S. in Psychology and from New York University with a master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition. She completed her clinical training from New York-Presbyterian Hospital, after which she received her credentials as a Registered Dietitian. Amy has since worked with many doctor’s practices, including her current position at Greenwich Cardiology Associates in Greenwich, CT, as well as at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, NY. Amy counsels patients with various medical conditions, such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, gastrointestinal disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, food allergies, diabetes, and obesity. At Your Secret Ingredient, Amy specializes in family nutrition, helping clients to achieve life-long health and wellness, as well as learn everyday culinary and shopping skills. Amy believes the secret to living nutritiously is learning the art of cooking and loving food, being physically active and exercising regularly, and practicing nutrition in moderation.
